About Us
Dedicated Therapists and Educators
Positivity offers state of the art Autism treatment in the home, center, and school-based settings. We work with parents, teachers, doctors, peers and other therapists to maximize our students' growth.
Why "Positivity"?
Extensive research has shown that positive behavior supports create the context for students to be successful. Proactive foundations that support positive behaviors can improve social, emotional, and academic outcomes for students who are at risk of problem behaviors. Interestingly, these measures can help all students, as well!
Parent Training, Tools and Resources
Parent involvement in the treatment process has been found to be a factor that increases positive outcomes for students. ABA services for students with autism that include parent training result in greater outcomes as compared to services without ABA parent training.
Why is this? Consistency is key. We don't want students to learn to do things in specific contexts (say, with a therapist), yet learn that they can do something different outside of therapy. Having the parents be part of the treatment team allows the student to experience the consistency that is needed to get the best outcomes.
Plus, research is increasingly showing that parents make great therapists! Parents know their children and have important insights about them. When combined with the professionals' knowledge of effective treatment strategies, this partnership is a winning combination for the student.

Our Evidence Based Treatment
We use evidenced based treatments based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. We implement these services through Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians. We provide in-home therapy, center-based therapy, and school-based services. We'll even arrange to meet in a park or other community setting, depending on what skills we are working on.
